Dear sweet, innocent Jessica,

I know you are feeling like a wounded animal right now, but the wounds you are tending are a phantom pain from a long time ago. You are afraid of the dark again. You are afraid they will see through the cracks that you have had to fill just to put yourself back together.

I know you are feeling guilty for wanting more out of life and that you are afraid to ask for it, but you are not that scared little girl anymore. You can do this. You have replaced fear with courage. Over and over. You have won glorious battle after glorious battle. You have lost so many to your cause, but never in vain.

Do not fall into the darkness now, after all you have been through. I am here for you. I will steady you and lift you up once again, for we are stronger together then we have ever been. For once, take your own advice. For once, see yourself as I see you. Know that I love you and I will never let you fall back, whence you came.

Let them see all you have been through. Let them feel your pain. You have nothing to be ashamed of. I know the ones that will accept you will embrace you and the ones that will condemn you have so much more to learn. You can no more blame them for not seeing what you have hidden away then you can blame yourself for needing to find the strength and the resolve to carry on alone.

I am yours. Forever, your guiding spirit and the hand that reaches for you when it is too dark to see. I am the lady in the mirror. I am yours… for you are me.

My Skills

Writing, pencil drawing, painting, wood burning, henna, photography, oracle card design, stipple art, sign making, magic wand crafting, sculpting metal roses, cake decorating, graphic design and my most recent favorite... visual and audio art set to my own voice telling old stories, written by me, meant to uplift and motivate people to feel art and beauty again.

I also have written, designed, produced and hosted more than 10 murder mystery events for the community since 2017 and I read tarot and study cultures and religion in an effort to learn more about this life that we have been given.

Someone asked me as a child "What do you want to do when you grow up?"

After contemplation I responded.

"I don't want to be great at any one thing. I want to be good at everything."

To this day... I find my great happiness is found in learning, creating and inspiring others.
